This notice is written to reflect UK GDPR (and the Data Protection Act 2018) and the EU GDPR for visitors in the European Economic Area.

The planner asks for financial details such as income, savings, deposit and property price so it can estimate costs. This information is processed entirely in your web browser and saved to your browser's local storage on your own device. It is not sent to or stored on our servers, and we cannot see it.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email or contact details unless you choose to email us directly.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, tracking pixels or fingerprinting. We do not build a profile of you or track you across other sites.

The site uses your browser's local storage only to remember the figures you have entered so your planner is still there when you return. This is strictly necessary for the feature you have chosen to use, so no consent banner is required for it. You can clear it at any time (see "Your choices" below).

The "share" feature builds a link that encodes your planner inputs directly inside the web address. The data lives in the link itself, not on our servers. If you send that link to someone, they will be able to see those figures, so only share it with people you trust.

The site is built and hosted on the Lovable platform (which runs on cloud infrastructure). As with any website, our hosting provider may process limited technical information such as your IP address and request logs in order to deliver pages securely. If the site encounters a technical error, basic diagnostic information may be sent to the platform so problems can be fixed.

These providers act on our behalf and are responsible for the security of the infrastructure they run. We do not sell your data to anyone.

You have the right to:

• Be informed about how your data is used (this notice).
• Access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability where it applies.

Because your planner figures never leave your device, in practice we hold almost nothing about you. The fastest way to exercise the rights above over your planner data is to clear it from your own browser. For anything else, email shiners_escapes6y@icloud.com.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

You can remove your saved planner data at any time by using the reset option in the planner, or by clearing your browser's site data / local storage for this site. Doing so permanently removes the figures from your device.

If you have a concern, please contact us first at shiners_escapes6y@icloud.com. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. In the EEA you can contact your local data protection authority.

We may update this notice as the site evolves. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
